Our "North Mountain" region includes both sides of Rocky Mountain National Park along Highway 34 plus towns along U.S. 40 farther west.
At the east entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is Estes Park. The Lake Estes Marina has fishing boats and pontoon rentals.

Beacon Landing Marina is a landmark marina buit in the shape of a boat along Highway 34. Fishing boats, canoes and pontoons. Pets ok.
Highland Marina is recovering from last summer's forest fires. However, the boat docks will operate with off shore pontoon boats. Pet deposit.
Lake Granby's Indian Peaks Marina is right on the Highway 34 shoreline. It has catamarans pontoons, a restaurant and bar.
Explore both Grand Lake and the larger Shadow Mountain Reservoir from Trail Ridge Marina. Boats, pontoons, kayaks and two tiki boats. Dogs ok.
Owned by the Town of Grand Lake, Headwaters Marina is right on Lake Avenue. No reservations taken. Fishing boats and pontoons are rented by the hour. Dogs ok.
At 500 acres, Grand Lake is the largest and deepest natural lake in Colorado. Opened in 1955, Grand Lake Marina offers fishing boats, canoes, pontoons and charter party boats on Grand Lake only. Dogs ok.
The 1,550-acre Wolford Mountain Reservoir along Highway 40 offers camping, boats and pontoons at the Wolford Campground & Marina. Boat pet fee $25.
North of Steamboat Springs, the Steamboat Lake Marina has boats, pontoons, canoes and wake boats with a driver. Pet fee $25. www.steamboatlakemarina.com
South of Steamboat Springs near Oak Creek is Stagecoach State Park. Stagecoach Marina has pontoons and fishing boats. Pet fee $25.
